Deputy General Director for Geology, Rusburmash
He began his working career in the Research Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences in 1981. More than 10 years Martynenko V. devoted to the study of uranium and gold deposits in Central Asia.
Starting from 2001 he worked at the Center for business restructuring and development as a Project Director. He implemented investment projects in mining and mineral processing as well as engineering. Then he worked in FGUGP Urangeo where in 6 years he rose through the ranks from party chief to deputy director general. He organised and managed exploration and drilling projects both in Russia and abroad.
In 2009 he was invited to the mining division of the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom to manage exploration at the stage of preparation of resources for development of uranium deposits in Russia. Currently, Martynenko V. is a Deputy General Director for Geology in Rusburmash, JSC.
Author of numerous publications on sandstone-type deposits. In 2011 Martynenko V. was put on the APEC Engineer Register (Russia, the Mining section).
He graduated from Patrice Lumumba People's Friendship University in Moscow (engineer-geologist).
